Warranty Policy
Highland Trail Club partners with trusted outdoor brands and manufacturers that stand behind the quality of their products. Most products sold through Highland Trail Club are covered by the manufacturer's warranty rather than a warranty provided directly by Highland Trail Club.
While Highland Trail Club does not administer or replace manufacturer warranties, we are happy to assist customers throughout the warranty process and help coordinate claims with our brand partners whenever possible.
Warranty Coverage
Warranty coverage is determined solely by the manufacturer of the product. Coverage periods, limitations, and remedies vary depending on the brand and product purchased.
Manufacturer warranty information may be available on the applicable product page or can be provided upon request.
Highland Trail Club's Role
Although manufacturer warranties are administered by the manufacturer, Highland Trail Club is committed to assisting customers throughout the warranty process.
When a warranty issue arises, we will work with both you and the manufacturer to help facilitate communication and determine the appropriate resolution.
Final warranty determinations, including whether a claim is approved or denied, are made solely by the manufacturer.
How to Submit a Warranty Claim
To begin a warranty claim, please contact Highland Trail Club with the following information:
- Your order number.
- Proof of purchase.
- A detailed description of the issue.
- Photographs of the product.
- Photographs and/or videos clearly showing the claimed defect.
Additional information may be requested by the manufacturer before a warranty determination can be made.
Warranty Evaluation
Warranty claims are evaluated by the manufacturer based on the information provided, product condition, and the manufacturer's warranty guidelines.
Submission of a warranty claim does not guarantee approval. The manufacturer reserves the right to inspect the product before determining whether the issue qualifies for warranty coverage.
The carrier used for your shipment is determined by the manufacturer, warehouse location, product size, destination, and service availability.
What Is Generally Covered
Although warranty coverage varies by manufacturer, warranties generally cover defects in materials or workmanship that occur during normal intended use.
Examples may include:
- Manufacturing defects.
- Material defects.
- Defective hardware.
- Workmanship issues.
Actual warranty coverage varies by manufacturer and product.
What Is Generally Not Covered
Unless specifically covered by the manufacturer, warranties generally do not cover:
- Normal wear and tear.
- Improper installation.
- Improper maintenance.
- Misuse or abuse.
- Accidents or collisions.
- Damage resulting from improper storage.
- Cosmetic damage that does not affect product functionality.
- Fading, discoloration, or weather-related wear from normal outdoor exposure.
- Rust, corrosion, or oxidation resulting from environmental conditions.
- Damage caused by overloading or exceeding manufacturer specifications.
- Unauthorized modifications, alterations, or repairs.
- Commercial, rental, or industrial use unless specifically approved by the manufacturer.
- Damage caused during installation by third parties.
Replacement Parts & Repairs
Depending on the manufacturer and the nature of the warranty claim, replacement parts may be supplied instead of replacing the entire product.
The manufacturer determines the appropriate remedy for each approved warranty claim, which may include repair, replacement parts, product replacement, or another remedy at its discretion.
Shipping Costs
Responsibility for shipping costs associated with warranty claims varies by manufacturer.
Some manufacturers provide prepaid shipping labels, while others may require customers to pay shipping costs associated with warranty inspection, replacement, or return shipping.
Any applicable shipping responsibilities will be communicated during the warranty process.
Manufacturer-Specific Warranty Terms
Highland Trail Club partners with multiple manufacturers, each of whom maintains its own warranty policies and procedures.
Where manufacturer-specific warranty information is published on the applicable product page, those terms supplement and take precedence over this general Warranty Policy.
Limitation of Warranty
Except where prohibited by applicable law, Highland Trail Club makes no independent warranties, express or implied, regarding products sold through our website.
All warranty obligations are provided solely by the applicable manufacturer unless expressly stated otherwise.
